I prefer RIPLinux Live CD (it has GUI option) – have excellent choise of recovery tools – multiplatform usage… It is Slaskware based, enable easy internet access setup, installing Opera and Firefox, flashplugin and java support…

I use this program often. much better than nortons ghost. thanks for posting this, i was going to post partition myself because to the new user its quite confusing at first. i use part image from the sysrescue linux cd.
