OK, I thought resetting my computer would work, it didnt, so any solutions?

I connected my laptop to my tv to watch a movie now my screen on the laptop has stretched,(obviously not connected to the tv now) now when I move my curser too far over, the page moves.
Any solution would be a godsend as it is really annoying me now.
